Landscape Design
Landscape design is a difficult service for definite pricing. Due to the plethora of variables at play, I have found the most accurate quotes come after a site visit paired with detail oriented dialogue. However, I did my best to provide some basic cost estimates based on complexity of design and amount of bed space. In the chart, “Labor” refers to the dollar amount charged for a certain area of bed space. With regards to complexity of design, I have created three levels. Basic, intermediate, and advanced. The pictures below help illustrate what each tier brings to the table. Simply put, basic designs will follow symmetry, have a balance of all sizes of plants, and low plant variety. Intermediate designs will have symmetry and plant size dictated by the customer, sophisticated color coordinating, and moderate variety. Advanced designs will have all the characteristics of an intermediate, with increased variety, balance of blooms and foliage color throughout the season, and any extra customer needs.
Hurley Plant Care and Design offers a wide array of green industry services. I have done my best to estimate costs by dividing work into three main categories. Basic Yardwork, including weeding, cutbacks, cleaning fallen limbs, basic trimming, and more. Plant Health Care, pertaining to more specialized services ex, pruning, disease/pest mediation, soil amendments, removals and fertilization. Lastly, Consulting. Essentially addressing any plant, tree, or landscape concerns with an on site visit. Below is a table with labor and transportation costs.
